On March 7, 2015, Jasper Middle School choir students and choir students from surroundings schools joined together to perform in Circle the State With Song. Circle the State With Song is a one day event. Each student received a folder/binder before the CSWS so that they could practice the songs on their own using the IMEA website. They sang their hearts out from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. The kids that were in CSWS practiced all day and performed for their family and friends at 4:00 that afternoon. They had a few breaks and got to have a lunch break as well. They sang Artza Alina, Under Winter Moon, Old Joe Clark, Puttin On the Ritz, Ride the Chariot, Aurora Borealis, and Song for Unsung Hero. The conductor for CSWS was Dr. Beau Cannon and the piano accompanist was Emma Mundy. All of the kids that participated in the CSWS looked like they were having a blast. It was a great day!
